The streamlined outlet duct reduces drag and helps prevent engine overheating. The structure that prevents rainwater from entering without a cover is currently the only one for the GR86/BRZ. Takumi Project’s aero bonnet for the GR86/BRZ features a sharp, meteor-shaped outlet duct that gives a sense of speed around the face. The aerodynamic design minimizes drag. The Streamline outlet duct is designed to expel hot air from the engine compartment using negative pressure, and is also equipped with a mesh net to prevent foreign objects from entering. Takumi’s unique waterproof structure prevents rainwater from entering the engine compartment without the need for a duct cover. The cooling function can be maintained even on rainy days, helping to optimize water and oil temperatures. The material is the strongest “H-CFRP (hard carbon)” with lightness and rigidity approaching that of dry carbon. The product comes with a special adjustment plate that makes it easy to align the gap during installation. This supports a secure and smooth installation.
