All raw materials are from proven Bulgarian farms! With their varied protein sources, the menus are suitable for almost all dogs. For adolescent individuals up to one year, we recommend adding calcium. The menus are balanced and wholesome because they are moderate in fat and protein. They contain 5 types of protein – chicken, horse and veal, sardine and duck. Beef – a high-quality source of protein that contains nine essential amino acids necessary for the growth and maintenance of the body. The high protein content (26-27 g / 100 g) can support muscle growth and recovery. Beef contains iron and vitamin B12, which support healthy nerve function and the production of red blood cells. It is rich in zinc, calcium and phosphorus. These nutrients boost the immune system and take care of bone health. Horse – a rich source of protein, iron, zinc and vitamin B12, which are important nutrients. It is hypoallergenic and suitable for food allergies. Horse meat contains less fat than beef and is a good alternative for overweight dogs. Chicken – a source of light protein and little fat. It balances the menu to be easy to digest. Sardines – extremely good for bones. The main minerals for building bones are calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D, and sardines are rich in these trace elements. While calcium builds bones, vitamin D helps absorb it. Phosphorus prevents a decrease in bone density, fragility and brittleness. Sardines are also rich in Omega-3, which prevents anxiety as well as cardiovascular disease. Their consumption leads to good prevention of diseases such as osteoporosis and bone strengthening. Duck – rich in fat, so it is suitable for energetic dogs. This protein boosts the immune system and supports normal thyroid function. The menu is rich in Omega- 3 and vitamin B, which soothe irritated skin and keep it shiny and healthy. B vitamins support the cardiovascular system as well as the proper functioning of the musculature and nervous system. Duck meat is hypoallergenic, suitable for dogs that have food allergies to chicken or inflammatory conditions such as allergies, cancer and arthritis. Duck heads – an additional source of calcium, and the eyes and brain are secreting organs, great for variety.Bones – Soft, raw edible bones in moderation are an important component of any dog’s diet. They provide essential nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, minerals, bone marrow, natural antioxidants and enzymes. Green tripe – the best natural source of probiotics. Probiotics help the body restore normal levels of good bacteria. These are live microorganisms that support health in good quantity. They support digestive functions and the absorption of nutrients in the intestines. Probiotics are involved in the synthesis of certain vitamins, balance the intestinal microflora, maintain normal motility in the digestive tract and support the immune activity of the intestines. Also, green tripe is a source of protein, selenium and vitamin B. Liver – contains 10 to 100 times more nutrients than muscle meat. One of the most useful organs, which contains protein, iron, B vitamins, vitamin A, CoQ10 and essential fatty acids. CoQ10 found in the liver improves joint health, which is especially beneficial for large breeds and dogs that suffer from arthritis. Secondly, coenzyme Q10 is beneficial for heart health, increases the “good cholesterol” in the dog’s body. It also helps lower blood pressure and protects muscle tissue in the heart during a heart injury. Due to its high iron content, it is also effective in treating anemic animals Liver – a good source of high quality protein and essential amino acids needed for growth and maintenance of the body. It contains vitamin B12, iron, zinc and compounds that can support respiratory health and reduce the risk of lung infections. Spleen – a source of many essential nutrients, including proteins, vitamins and minerals that boost the immune system and improve digestive function.Kidney – a rich source of vitamin A, helps improve vision. The kidneys also contain iron, which acts as an antioxidant and helps carry oxygen throughout the body. Fruits and vegetables – rich in fiber, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes and phytonutrients. These substances are not found in meat. Benefits of the BARF menus of DIVUS: . Smaller stools % Better hydration 0 % Stronger appetite 0 % Less allergies 0 % Change in appetite. Your dog will be eagerly waiting in front of the fridge and licking the pad clean.Reduction of stools. The raw diet is digested as much as possible and the stools will be at least twice as small as when fed kibble!Reduced water intake. Dry food dehydrates the dog. Switching to BARF some dogs don’t even drink water in the winter! Healthy and shiny coat. The result is visible after the first 2-3 weeks! It will forever stop the year-round coat shedding-the biggest challenge in raising a dog for most owners. Weight adjustment. Muscle shaping and fat clearing is noticeable after the first week. Dry foods are often low in protein, responsible for muscle growth, and high in carbohydrate, which is stored as subcutaneous fat. With us it is the opposite! Behavior change. Dry foods lack absorbable natural vitamins and minerals, as well as essential amino acids. They are responsible for hormone production! There are already many studies proving the link between aggression, overexcitement, restlessness in the dog and its food. If you have a restless dog with behavioral problems, change the food. Prevention of tartar build-up. We can compare the granules with a grain that sticks to the teeth and thus microorganisms develop. Raw food prevents tartar build-up, and natural chewy treats clean it away. An end to upset stomach and gas. Divus menus contain the best natural probiotic – green tripe. You will also find prebiotics, chia seeds and psyllium husk on our menus. Thanks to them, the condition of the intestinal microbiome improves after the first week. Immune system resistant to viruses and parasites. The gut microbiome improves after the first week, and it is also responsible for the functions of the immune system. How much should I feed my pet? My pet is: Dog Cat Age: 2-4 months 4-6 months 6-9 months 9 months Weight:kg Daily activity:Low activityMedium activityHigh activity Recommended daily amount of DIVUS food 0.000 kg./day Note: Recommended amount of DIVUS food per day if you do not want to change the weight of your pet. Age: 2-4 months 4-6 months 6-9 months 9 months Weight:kg Daily activity:Low activityMedium activityHigh activity Recommended daily amount of DIVUS food 0.000 kg./day Note: Recommended amount of DIVUS food per day if you do not want to change the weight of your pet. The BARF daily ration is determined by several factors:AgeThe daily BARF ration has an inverse relationship with your pet’s age. The younger the dog or kitten, the higher percentage of weight it takes in. For example, an adolescent dog’s daily intake at 2 months is about 10% of its own weight, while an adult dog’s intake is only 2.5%. ActivityHigh activity requires more calories and energy, and vice versa. An adult dog or kitten consumes between 2-5% of its own weight, depending on the movement and duration of the walk: ❯ Low activity – about 1 hour per day ❯ Medium activity – between 1-3 hours per day ❯ High activity – over 3 hours per dayAlso important is how your friend’s walk goes and how active they are outside.Physical formIf your pet needs to lose or gain weight, multiply the percentage by the optimal weight to maintain.Example: your dog is of mature age, weighs 30 kg and has average activity. If it were to lose 5 kg without changing its activity, its daily ration would be 750 g.( 25 kg * 2, 5% = 750 g/day) Where can we deliver DIVUS ?
