Haiti geraspte cassava or manioc is a ready-to-eat frozen product, made from 100% cassava. Cassava is the edible root of shrub. In the Tropical countries too much cassava is eaten after rice and maize, because it contains a lot of starch. The taste is similar to potato, but the structure is firmer.
